Naas lane, Qudegely
The footpath at Naas lane had become overgrown and was inaccessible to those using push chairs or suffering from mobility problems. Venturer were tasked by Gloucester City Council to construct a new foot path, and install drop kerbs and crossing either sde of the road.
The works included extensive cutting back and removal of the overgrown vegetation to expose an existing road that had been lost to nature. New edgings were installed to border the new tarmac and material was brough in to build up to create gradual slopes to meet the new levels. dropped kerbs and tactile paving slabs were installed to aid pedestrians crossing the road.
